Default Sending Pix & Web Deletion?

Just received my T650 this weekend (rocks!!), moving over to VZW from a 6-year stint with T-Mobile. I did not sign up for any data plan: simply interested in using my T650 for it's phone and PDA functionality (plus, I'm just not in the tax bracket that can swing an additional $45/mo for data). I did also sign up for the unlimited pix and txt package.

Which leads me to my two questions.

    1. After taking a picture (or movie clip) with my T650, how do I send to other VZW users? Does this use data, thus charging me per kb?

    2. Can I delete my Web app since I will never use it? Or is there a way/setting I can disable the potential of using the web, as the per kb rates are killer? I'd like to avoid risk of accidentally running up a HUGE data tab... if at all possible.

    Thanks all.

Within the Camera app, select the third icon over. You'll see your photos. Select the photo you'd like to send, then hit the Menu button (above the email button) and select SEND. You then have the option to send via Bluetooth, Messaging, Versamail. You'll want to use Messaging. I usually send photos via email, but I don't see why Messaging won't work if the Verizon user you're sending has multimedia messaging capabilities. I would say this is under the messaging portion of your package, but check with Verizon to be sure.

I've never tried this and I'm guessing it can't be done. Palm doesn't want it's users accidently erasing core apps. I'd just make sure not of your buttons are programmed for Web -- then the only way it can be launched is you were to navigate to the app.

A friend of mine is on Verizon -- long story short, they forgot to note his account as unlimited data and he got hit with a $2000 bill. Luckily, his account was supposed to be unlimited so they quickly credited him. He did suffer a bit of heart failure. That's outside of most people -- other than Bill Gates' tax bracket!
