Default Treo 700w Owner - Needing Upgrade

OK, I've been a 700w owner since Jan 6, 2006, when the were available.

Put up with the bugs, loved the new stuff, etc...

I'm envious of the 750 users out there due to performance enhancements to Windows Mobile 5.2.2, but have no intention of leaving Verizon anytime soon.

Has anyone heard anything about the next generation of Windows Mobile Treos on Verizon?

It has been rumored in another area on this site that Sprint will be carrying the 750 with WM6 later on this year. If that is the case, then I am sure Verizon will follow suit and end up offering the 750 a few months afterwards. I say this as they ended up offering the 700wx a few months after Sprint started offering it.

    Cheers!

I talked to the local verizon rep yesterday about this. He said they will have the 750s around Q3 this year.

I too have had the 700w for quite some time. I was reading that in the fall they will be releasing the Palm Treo 800w. That is what I'm banking on and waiting for. Too many times I have purchased a phone or gadget and then a month after, the new version comes out, so hopefully the rumors of 800w are true. Good luck.
