Default Treo and Family plan on Verizon?

I'm interested in joining a family plan and getting a Treo. However, the Treo isn't available on the website as an option when adding a new line to a family plan. Is standalone billing the only option when activating a new Treo with Verizon? No shared minutes?

I got my 700p and three Samsung phones on a family plan. I went to the Verizon store though.

I have 5 phones, all different ones, and mine is the Palm Treo 700. It doesn't matter what kinds you get....just go to the store.

I have 4 phones, One being a treo 600, And they will hook it up no problem on the family plan. You will need to call and have it activated because they need to find out which data plan you want.
Just make sure you tell them you tried to activate it online (it tells you to call verizon) or they will try and charge you $20.00

I had a Treo 600 and now a 700p on the family plan. I just entered the ESN on the account section of the verizon website and activated them myself.

Pursuant to the post previous to mine, I'll add that I was not charged anything either time. I don't have any data plan, though, if that matters.
