Verizon Treo 650 Release Dates and Prices!

What is this NE2 thing I keep hearing about?

It's a Verizon gimmick whereby you get (up to) $100 off a new phone every 2 years. Unfortunately, I just discovered that it's only offered if you renew your contract for another 2 years. I wanted to renew for one year, but I was told I'd lose the deal.

I've been holding off purchasing, deciding between sprint / cingular and canceling my existing verizon b/c I didnt' believe they'd ever come forward with a committed release date... then see this thread and, well, anybody able to confirm its availability and plan details?

I can verify this for you. I stopped by the Verizon store yesterday where I have a contact, and he showed me some confidential release paperwork for the Treo 650 that only the employees are supposed to see. Anyway, it showed the prices, release dates, and had technical info and schematics for the Verizon sales rep in order for them to become knowledgable about the unit in order to be able to answer questions to customers.

The dates are confirmed, as are the pricing. ;)

so by the 11th release date for business is that just businesses or for verizon customers? Im a verizon customer currently and want to know if i can buy it the 11th or 23rd.

The 11th is only for B2B customers. You've got to have a business with about 20 lines or so.

The 23rd the T650 will be available to Verizon customers.

Yesterday, my business rep told me it should be within 10 days, but then this morning, she called me to let me know that it is available, and we put through the order.

That sounds right. Business release today and we should have the Verizon Treo 650 for retail by May 23rd.:D

Is there anyone that has a regular consumer account with VZW and has been able to get the Treo 650 early? I tried yesterday and today with 6 different customer service reps and they all said they cannot sell it early.:confused:
