Verizon Treo 650 Release Dates and Prices!
Okay I have it from one of my inside sources who works at a Verizon Wireless store (the same guy who helped me to get a photo of the placard) that the Treo 650 is being released by Verizon this month. Here are the exact dates I was told and the prices:
May 11th for B2B, in stores on the 23rd.
$400.00 with two year contract, $450.00 with one year contract.
Full price is $529.00.
Rejoice and be merry. The time is nigh!

As reported here yesterday.
$400.00 with two year contract, $450.00 with one year contract.
We should be able to do better than this at the Everything Treo Store. I will let you know as soon as I get firm details on pricing.
Isn't it nice to finally have a firm date!:D

Oops.... :p
Well even if I buy it outside of Verizon, aren't they going to charge you to activate it on their network?
Anybody know of a way to unlock all the Bluetooth features that Verizon crippled yet?

If you buy from an authorized Verizon dealer, you shouldn't have to.

What do you mean? Please explain.

I am entitled to received $100.00 off toward the purchase of my next phone as an upgrade because I've had my current phone for over 24 months now. Will that still be applicable if I buy it through an authorized Verizon dealer such as Treo Central? What about if I bought it directly from PalmOne? How would that work?

Not sure yet which they will be (rumors of varying accuracies abound) but Shadowmite's probably your best bet.

So I paid a visit to the Verizon Store in my local Circuit City Shop today after work.
The Lady said that the Release Date for the Treo 650 is May 10th for all channels... not just Business, but Consumers as well. She didn't have the pricing readily available.
She also mentioned that a Data Plan is highly recommended, but not mandatory.
Here's an interesting side note. The Lady said that there will be a promo that will give you an additional $100 off the Treo 650 if you purchase w/ the Unlimited Data Plan. This is IN ADDITION TO the NE2 Discount. I thought I would pass this along to you guys to chew on...
I'm just the messenger, so don't shoot me!!! Cheers!!!

What is this NE2 thing I keep hearing about? Can I couple the $100 data plan discount offer with my $100 upgrade offer?
