I upgraded to 1.03 & crashed out my original T650 on the 19th. Continuous reset loop.
I Talked to VZW to swap it out on the 20th, & received my replacement today. I was told the replacement would be loaded up w/ 1.03, but it is infact still 1.01 on the replacement.
Does anyone know if a VZW Store will do this update for me??? I don't wanna screw up my precious again. Thanks...
I'm not weird... I'm gifted!!!

Mine reset over and over too
Mine did this too, but I was able to get it back to 1.01 by doing a hard reset and then syncing.
FWIW- A hard reset is when you hold down the POWER button, tap the reset button in the battery compartment, and continue holding the power button down until the "PALM POWERED" screen comes up.
At least in my case it got me back to square one.
Good luck,

--- UPDATE ---
I made sure I had 11MB of free space this time and it worked!

I couldn 't get it to work. Followed the directions exactly, new user creation and all, on my Mac using Missing Sync. Maybe that's the problem. It didn't do anything, I'm still on v 1.01 after resetting and installing a couple of times. I may take it into the Verizon store to have them do the update.
Perfect timing, I discovered the roaming issue Monday of this week whil traveling.

I got the reset loop, as well. The loop occured when I hot synched under my original ID to restore all my data, each and every time I tried. Hard resetting does not revert it to 1.03, and restoring data causes the loop again.
I finally got around it by emptying the Backup folder for that ID, and hot synching it to that name after the hard reset, which basically sets up the hot sync ID but on an empty Palm. Then I restored the data from an SD card via BackupBuddyVFS. This doesn't help if you don't already have a backup on a card, but if you do, it may work.
Note that this will lose some of your preferences, specifically favorites and SMS messages. I'm not sure why, since at least the SMS messages were in the backup, and I was able to manually restore them later, they just didn't restore as part of the automatic restore function. Haven't had a chance to see if I can find the file for the favorites to do that, too.

missing sync and update
I am using Missing Sync and couldn't get the update to work either.

Hmmm....Mine worked?
Well, I updated about 3 of them last week to 1.03, and have had MUCH better luck with roaming.
The important thing that you have to remember is to be sure to follow the directions EXACTLY. They are a little confusing, but just be sure to pay attention to all the little details and verbage, it's worth it.
Hope this helps.

Emstrange,
Are you doing it on a Mac with Missing Sync?
I think I'll end up syncing then taking mine into a Verizon stor.
