VZ 650 & 600??

Now that the 650 is finally here at VZ, anyone know if they will continue to carry the 600 (possibly lowering the price) or will they completely drop it in favor of the 650?

I'd expect modest price drops and the 600 to remain in the Verizon product lineup. We've already seen a few drops in price -- with the 600 being $199. That price is still higher compared to other providers.

Another question: if I find a better deal on a used 600, can I take that into VZ and still sign up with their service?

FWIW: The 600 at the VZ stores here in Denver are $250 after a $50 mail in rebate... and not the $199 you mention above. Thoughts?

I'm sure Verizon would be happy to take on a new service contract. They usually offer either discounts on hardware or "free" phones in order to entice you to go with their service.
