Rumor: According to a tipster at BGR, Bell is making a push to release the Palm Pre in early August. Announced back on May 6th by Palm and Bell, the two companies confirmed a second half of 2009 release. Sprint customers in the US have reached month 5 of a potential 6 month wait, so many thought it might be more of the same with the Canadian release on Bell. The source claims the date is dependant upon Palm’s ability to deliver the phones. Hope springs enternal for our friends up north, who might see the Pre sooner than expected.
