Palm Europe has begun offering an unlocked version of the Palm Treo 500 for 269. Previously only available as the Treo 500v through Vodafone, this Treo is not compatible with GSM networks in the US.

Palm Europe has begun offering an unlocked version of the Palm Treo 500 for 269. Previously only available as the Treo 500v through Vodafone, this Treo is not compatible with GSM networks in the US.

The Treo 500 features:

  • Windows Mobile 6 Standard
  • 320x240-pixel Transflective colour screen; supports 16-bit colour (up to 65K colours)
  • GSM/GPRS/UMTS radio GSM bands: 900/1800/1900 UMTS bands: 2100
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • microSD memory expansion
  • miniUSB
