Palm is reportedly set to close all of their retail locations, but one over the next five weeks. 26 airport based stores and 34 in total will be closed.

Palm is reportedly set to close all of their retail locations, but one over the next five weeks. 26 airport based stores and 34 in total will be closed.

Dieter Bohn, of TreoCentral, was able to get an official statement from Palm regarding the closings. "We continue to focus our company around core business initiatives and are consolidating more resources behind fewer programs in order to compete most effectively and build world-class, category-defining mobile solutions. We have therefore made the decision to close our retail stores."

In the past year, Palm has cancelled the Foleo and now comes word of their retail locations closing. Palm continues to streamline their business and focus on their core business, most notably the development of Nova, the next generation Palm OS.
