Palm expects the Treo 700p maintenance release to be available sometime during the week of May 28th.

The release is expected to fix a number of issues that have plagued some Treo 700p owners including:

  • Bluetooth improvements
  • Improvements to SMS send and receive
  • MP3 playback
  • Phone app launch speed

Palm is currently awaiting the completion of the certification process for both Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
