Palm and Microsoft are in search of hot, new mobile applications to run on the Treo Windows Devices and have announced a contest to developers offering a grand prize of $10,000.

Palms Developer Network and Microsoft will kick off the Treo Windows Mobile Challenge contest at MEDC 2007. The grand prize winner will receive $10,000. They are looking for developers to develop a new solution or port an existing solution to Palms Windows Mobile Devices. Submissions may include freeware, shareware or commercial software applications. If you have heard of or seen a mobile application that you think would be great for the Treo, let them know.

The Palm Developer Network provides access to SDKs, emulators, API guide, developer guide, and other technical resources for FREE at Palm. Potential applicants can join today and be one of the first one to qualify to receive your Can you Code? T-Shirt.

Applications submissions must be received by June 5th, 2007. Winners will be announced at Microsofts Tech Ed Conference. Winners do not need to be present in order to win.
