One of the more important apps for any platform is Facebook and clearly Palm recognizes this with consistent improvements in Facebook for webOS. The lastest update Facebook 1.2 is now available for download in the App Catalog and offers some great new features including notification support and “polish around the user experience”.

Two issues with this update.
1) Notifications to the OS are on by default and set at 20 minutes. This can drain your battery just like any polling. You may want to turn it off.
2) Most of the links in notifications don’t work so getting them is almost pointless. If someone comments on a photo and you click the link, you get an error.
