Ben Galbraith and Dion Almaer Leaving Palm

In what can only be dubbed a suprising move, the dynamic duo of Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith¬†have announced they are leaving Palm. In the HP Palm Developer Blog, Almaer isn’t clear as to the reason for the departure. Dion Almaer goes more in-depth with his ‘Setting our own direction‘ post on his personal blog. There has been no shortage of talent exiting Palm over the past few months and at some point one has to wonder how this all affects the future development of webOS. It was just 7 months ago, these two kicked off their developer podcast series. Best of luck to both gentlemen who will still have some role as consultants for HP Palm. In fact, Ben expects to join everyone at the NYC Developer Day next month.
