Palm Pixi Under $30 at Walmart, Backordered

The Palm Pixi hasn’t been released yet, but we’re already seeing price breaks at places like Walmart. The big box reseller is offering the Palm Pixi for $29.99 at Walmart.com, with no mail-in rebate required. The Pixi is currently back ordered, but by all accounts it looks as if you can purchase it today for $30. Those who can wait a week or so can get a great deal on the Pixi.

As some of our readers have noted in the past, Let’s Talk processes orders for Walmart. If at anytime within the first 181 days you cancel your contract with Sprint, you’ll likely get hit with a pretty big charge.

With the Droid, some folks have had luck price matching Walmart’s online store with Best Buy and Walmart retail locations. If you are headed out Sunday to pick up a Pixi, do yourself a favor and bring a print out Walmart’s pricing.

Palm Pixi Shows Up at Walmart

The Palm Pixi, whose official release is set for Sunday, found it’s way to a Walmart display. It seems while the Palm Pixi is on display, it’s not actually for sale just yet. Of course, this could change if the Pixi gets added to Walmart’s system, thus allowing folks to actually buy the phone.

We’ve heard that Best Buy has Pixi cases on display, but no Pixi in sight. With past Sprint launches, some have had luck ordering devices via Sprint telesales before the scheduled release date. Are you picking up a Pixi? Have luck getting one early? Let us know.

Palm Pre for $79.99 at Walmart

Just a few days ago, we saw the Palm Pre hit Amazon for $100. Those willing to go through the rebate process can get the Palm Pre for just $79.99 from Walmart with a 2-year agreement. The $100 mail-in rebate goes through Let’s Talk, who handles wireless sales for Walmart.

Between the $99.99 rebate-free Amazon offer and the $79.99 Walmart offer there are plenty of options to get a low price on a new Palm Pre. No word on whether this offer is available at retail locations.

Thanks Akitayo!
