During Palm’s quarterly conference call, the company confirmed that the Treo Pro will be available on a US carrier. The Treo Pro is currently available direct from Palm, but at a non-subsidized price of $549. Of course, this price allows you to use the Treo Pro worldwide with any sim card and not be bound by a lengthy contract.
There is no official word from Palm on the carrier, but the GSM Treo Pro would run on either AT&T or T-Mobile. The latter hasn’t seen a Palm phone since the Treo 600, so it’s safe to say AT&T should be in line for the Treo Pro. Once get any confirmation of the release, we’ll pass it along.
