Palm had posted a changelog for webOS 1.4.5 on their support site, but it’s gone missing. In fact, Palm’s entire support site appears to have some technical issues this morning. Browsing the site often brings up ‘null’ results.
The update hasn’t appeared yet, but the appearance of the changelog provides us with some hope that a release is coming and soon. Here’s what we can expect from webOS 1.4.5:
System
- This release includes minor fixes and enhancements to support the public release of the webOS PDK.
Web
- If a user enters text in a field on certain websites, the screen focus now remains on the text being entered.
- This release fixes a rare problem so that podcasts now download correctly.
Security
- This release addresses several security issues with the Palm webOS software.
