According to an email from Sprint received by PreThinking, it appears that Sprint employees have begun training on the Palm Pre. This would confirm the Palm Pre release date is still on target for the first half of 2009, but still leaves many clamouring for a hard release date.
"I would like to inform that Sprint is in the process of providing the training for the new Palm Pre. Once it’s launched, Sprint will be ready to serve their valued customers regarding the Palm Pre."
The Palm Pre has made brief appearances in recent Sprint ads, but we have yet to see the full out marketing blitz that is sure to arrive. Sweeps week begins on April 23rd, so one could assume Palm Pre ads might start appearing on or around that date.
