When Sprint originally posted their Palm Pre specs, many rejoiced at the inclusion of a Phone As Modem option. Basically, this allows you to connect your laptop to the Internet using the Palm Pre as your modem. It seems Sprint removed this from the list of specification, perhaps in an attempt to increase sales of their new Simply Everything + Mobile Broadband plan. This emcompassess a phone plan with unlimited data, messaging, voice, GPS navigation and 5GB of laptop Internet.
The new Simply Everything + Mobile Broadband plan is priced at $149. Sprint’s Everything plan is $99.
