Palm Drops Their Ad Agency

Palm has parted ways with Modernista, the ad agency responsible for creating the launch campaign for the Palm Pre. Modernista had handled campaigns for the Palm Pre and the Palm Pixi. Despite heavy criticism from Palm fans, the campaign was successful in strengthening brand awareness. One could argue that despite an increase in positive brand awareness, the ads didn’t result in improved sales of webOS phones.





Palm is reportedly looking at various agencies. No comment was available from either Palm or Modernista.

    Was about time. I think Palm might contract the German guy who made that wonderful ad on the Palm spot contest, showing in 30 seconds the boundaries of webos multitasking.
