Palm Treo 680 Being Offer Free After Rebates

The Palm Treo 680 (see review) is the latest smartphone from Palm and has only been available since November 24th. It’s unclear how this new agressive pricing will affect the sales of Palm’s unlocked Treo 680 being offered direct through Palm for $399. The unlocked version offers customers the ability to choose from an array of colors and does not require a new wireless contract. This allows the Treo 680 to be used on any GSM network. Designed with first time smartphone owners in mind, Palm will certainly “expand the pie” with this new pricing.
Pricing and Availability
The Cingular Treo 680 retails for $149.99 and is free after rebates. Unlocked Treo 680 smartphones are available direct through Palm.
