MIchael Abbott, Palm’s SVP of Software and Service, has resigned effective April 23rd. The news comes from PreCentral via an SEC filing. Abbott’s role as SVP of Software and Service was to lead the application platform and services development for the company’s next-generation Palm webOS platform.
We wish Michael the best in his future endeavors and a big thanks for all his work on webOS.
So, is there one of these apparently potential buyers hiring M Abbott? Is cheaper to get him than to pay 1 or 2 Billions dollars. Where is he going HTC, RIM, Huawei????
