According to a tipster over at PreCentral, Palm is reportedly working on webOS update 1.3.5 for a planned release date of mid-December. An O2 rep alledgedly referenced the update saying it would fix an SMS character bug plaguing GSM Palm Pre phones.
Given the minor incremental bump from 1.3.1 to 1.3.5, don’t get your hopes up for any major changes. CES is scheduled for early January, so perhaps Palm will use the big stage to showcase webOS 2.0?
Small Incremental bump? i think it more than fixes the said SMS bug for European Pre phones….possible continuation of Palm vs. Apple?
