Think Big, Think Small, Think Poll

Regardless of what happens on February 9th, HP|Palm has got everyone jazzed for the big unveiling of new webOS products. We expect tablets and multiple handsets at the event. Anything less would be a disappointment. Ideally, the company would hit it out the ballpark with both product lines. What if you had to choose one? What’s most important to you? Tablet or phone?

I’d like to point out that this doesn’t mean I won’t be buying the tablet nearly 1st in line!!! However, my Sprint Pre has run it’s course & I’m completely frustrated with it and want a new phone!!! haha

    Can’t wait for Feb 9!

Let’s hope they hit out of the park with both products. Both will run webOS, so that’s a great start!

I want a webOS phone because my Sprint Pre is failing badly. Feb 9th was the only reason I didn’t go ahead with an non-webOS purchase. I plan to purchase a webOS slate but i need a phone replacement first.

Although I am seriously excited to see whats new, I am particularly interested in a webos tablet because I am looking to replace my old HP laptop with something a little sexier.

  6. Had an HTC Diamond running Winmob before I got my Pre so I have LOTS of patience even though my Pre is falling apart. It will have to disintegrate in my hands before I start looking at IOS, Rim or Android.

Besides, this event is being talked about almost exclusively as the tablet’s show – let’s not forget the likelihood that HP will show off phones as well.

I believe all these “leaks” are being well timed to generate interest and buzz. I think they still have a lot of surprises to show come Feb 9.

Apple plays this same game to great effect so why shouldn’t HP do it? Especially since they are clearly positioning themselves to be the “main” competition to the IPad.
