Those waiting for an official confirmation of the Palm Pre coming to Verizon got just that via a tweet sent out on Twitter by Verizon. Short but sweet for those hoping Verizon would carry the Palm Pre.

With confirmation complete, now we’ll look for news regarding any release dates and if Verizon’s Palm Pre will have any different specs. Anyone want a 16GB Palm Pre?

I am happy to hear the news. I know a lot of people have been waiting for it to be available on Verizon. Personally I have had great coverage on the Sprint network and with the free cell to cell regardless of carrier I would prefer sprint. I think a faster processor would be the best upgrade to the phone. I am satisfied with it the way it is now though. Especially after playing with windows mobile 6.5 and Blackberry devices over the last couple of days. Pre is way more intuitive, modern, synergy is great, and just works.
Me! Me! Me! I have always loves Palm products! My Centro is overdue for an upgrade, but there isn’t anything at the Verizon stores yet. I’ll definately upgrade & renew my contract when the Pre shows up! Yay!
16GB ? Why not 32GB plus a SD-Card slot ?
