With the Palm Pre Plus on Verizon now available for just $29.99 (with a 2-year agreement), it certainly makes sense to drop the price of it’s sibling, the Palm Pixi Plus. As of today, Verizon Wireless has done just that, offering the Palm Pixi Plus for the price of free. Of course, there is a 2-year contract involved, but the Palm Pixi Plus also has the benefit of doubling as a free mobile hotspot. Not bad and perhaps this is a more suitable and far more capable phone for social maximizers than the recently announced KIN.
